New SafeSeaNet Norway is now live, with some features still under development
The new harmonised interface has now been launched to meet updated EU EMSWe requirements. The old and new portals are available in parallel for a period of time.
The new portal provides a functioning system, but some features are limited or not available at launch:
Pilotage ordering: Not yet implemented
Use of Pilotage Exemption Certificate (PEC): Not yet implemented
"Continue voyage" function: Not yet implemented
New spreadsheet template: Only crew and passenger upload supported initially
It is not possible to combine the two portals for the same port call. All reporting for a single call must be completed entirely within one system.Read the full article on Kystverket's website
